20 Comfort Killers Journals Donated to Children in Philadelphia
We Donated 20 Journals to Children of Philadelphia
The Comfort Killers LLC donated 20 Journals to children of Philadelphia because we recognize the importance of goal setting and the power of documenting your journey. We wanted to be sure these 20 kids were given a positive head start to success, and the feeling of value and love.
Each journal personalized by Stacy Cross with a hand written message of encouragement, love and motivation. When I wrote each one I had no clue who would receive the note, but I hoped it resonated with the right person. I left that part up to the universe.
When Mr. PDQ (Richard Sutton) explained to me that he was working a program and counseling troubled teens in Philadelphia, I knew I had to be a part of it. Mr. PDQ is owner and founder of The Amari Academy which is a non-profit organization that focuses on young black males between the ages of 12 and 18 years old and an author who is currently wrapping up his first book, Fear of Becoming a Man.
The Amari Academy teaches these young men leadership, mindset, money management and character. On top of all his activity surrounding the youth Mr. PDQ is highly engaged in programs throughout the city that uplifts, teaches, and prepares the youth to thrive in life.
Richard inspires the hell out of me and as we continue to work closely together on new programs and training, I knew The Comfort Killers had to get involved somehow and as we grow our company we continuously look for opportunities to help our community.
